Mono Simeone

Mono
Mono_v2Currently working for City College of San Francisco as the GIS Coordinator with a focus in GIS for Facilities Management. I have a passion for GIS and teaching others the power and fun of using GIS for their own projects. Past exploits include GIS analysis at Point Reyes National Seashore, Towill Inc., and SFPD. A New England native which means I have a little engine that doesn't stop. You may also find me sauntering San Francisco for a good beer.

Rick Kos

Rick
Rickkos_v1Hi, I'm Rick Kos, a certified urban planner who has been using GIS technology for at least 15 years in my analyses of the urban environment.  I enjoy teaching students how to use ArcGIS and I am very adept at "demystifying" this powerful software so you can learn to use it for your work.  I teach in the Masters of Urban Planning program at San Jose State Univ. and provide urban planning and GIS services on a consultancy basis.  I Look forward to seeing you in my workshops!

Jen McLaughlin

Jen
JenM_v1Hi, I'm Jen. I use GIS everyday as an environmental health program planner for San Francisco and enjoy teaching to help draw the connection between the built environment and the health of SF residents. I am currently working to develop a Bicycle Environmental Quality Index to assess and identify the safety of bicycle environments in SF, using GIS to score and spatially display the quality of SF streets to inform policy and planning. I am also a member of the Bay Area HIA Collaborative.
